Apple addsnew locations to 3D Flyover feature on iOS and OS X Maps


Apple added eleven new locations to the 3D Flyover feature on its iOS and OS X Maps applications. The new spots include major cities such as Detroit, Pamplona and Pittsburgh. Apple introduced Apple Maps application in year 2012 and the Flyover feature allows users to take interactive, three-dimensional virtual tours of various points of interest from around the world.

Here’s the list of newly added locations

  • Annecy, France.
  • Antwerp, Belgium.
  • Detroit, Michigan.
  • Gorges de l’Ardèche, France.
  • Mazatlan, Mexico.
  • Monument Valley, Arizona.
  • Munster, Germany.
  • Pamplona, Spain.
  • Pensacola, Florida.
  • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
  • Utrecht, Netherlands

In late September, Apple added 20 new Flyover locations including Stuttgart, Germany and Tijuana, Mexico, and there are now more than 200 total cities and landmarks supported by the feature.
