Apple launched new Apple TV with completely redesign with bright and new interface,Siri interactivity for browsing and controlling the device, App Store and a new hardware controller with touch capabilities and motion detection. It also has universal search and supports third party applications.
The Apple TV is mainly focused on media viewing and casual gaming, with some pretty interesting features and new interaction methods available through Siri.
Apple TV is powered by A8 processor and the connectivity of the devices includes HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, IR. Some of the other features includes in new Apple TV are remote control with TouchPad, accelerometer, Gyroscope and dedicated Siri button and Volume control.
The device also supports the third party controllers where it has the ability to use iPhone, iPod Touch as an additional controller for the multiplayer games. The Siri interactivity with Apple TV can do everything from search shows and movies rewind and pause video. Even it is possible to get the live score of any sport, live weather reports, play music and many other things. The new Apple TV has a price tag of$149 for 32 GB and $199 for 64 GB where as an older generation model will stick around at $69.
