Apple on Wednesday has made an announcement its latest tablets iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 with 4G LTE connectivity will be available later this week in China. Apple is debuting both iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 tablets with TD-LTE and FDD-LTE support along with DC-HSDPA, HSPA+ and SCDMA standards in the single model which will work on the different wireless networks in China. These tablets could be the great companions for those who roam across the world.
China’s Apple online store is displaying both these iPads with an estimated delivery of 24 hours. According to the press release the price of the devices are as follows. WLAN featured iPad Air 2 in China are priced at 3,588 RMB for 16 GB variant, 4,288 RMB for 64 GB and 4,988 RMB for 128 GB variants. Another iPad Air 2 tablet with both WLAN and cellular connectivity along with FDD-LTE and TD LTE support comes with price tag of 4,488 RMB for 16 GB variant, 5,188 RMB for 64 GB and 5,888 RMB for 128 GB variants.
Coming to the iPad Mini 3, its WLAN models are priced at 2,888 RMB for 16 GB variant, 3,588 RMB and 4,288 RMB for 64 GB and 128 GB variants respectively. Its another model with both WLAN and wireless connectivity along with TD-LTE and FDD-LTE is priced at 3,788 RMB for 16 model, 4,488 RMB for 64 GB and 5,188 RMB for 128 GB models.
With the launch of latest iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 models, their predecessors has seen a reduction in price. As, iPad Mini 2 is available for 2,198 RMB and iPad Air for 2,888 RMB for 16 GB and 3,288 RMB for 32 GB model.
The company has launched its latest iPad Air 2 model in October, the tablet with 6.1 mm thickness powered by Apple’s native A8X SoC, anti-reflexive screen coating, Touch ID support which comes in new gold color. iPad Mini 3 was also announced on same day with less extensive generational improvements and shares Touch ID and gold chassis features of iPad Air 2.
