Apple announced that the release dates of iOS 9 and WatchOS 2 on September 16th where as OS X EI Capitan on September 30th. Apple announced these announcements at Hey Siri Event along with iPhone 6S and 6S plus, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4, New Apple TV, OS X EI Capitan.
The latest operating system iOS 9 comes with improved Siri, improved search, iCloud powered Notes app along with several notable under the hood improvements. iOS 9 supports all the devices with an A5 SoC or newer. For iPads this includes everything except the original iPad, which is really impressive when you consider that the iPad 2 launched in early 2011 with a version of iOS 4. The supported models of the iPod Touch include the iPod Touch 5 and the new iPod Touch 6 which is almost identical to the 5th gen on the outside but has Apple’s A8 SoC. Supported iPhones include the iPhone 4s and any iPhone released afterward.
The WatchOS 2 also brings support for native apps, third party complications and many more. Apple also announced several new watch bands and a new gold color option for Apple Sport Watch.
As mentioned above OS X EI Capitan will be launching on September 30 where as iOS 9 and WatchOS 2 will be launching on September 16th.
