Apple gets a new Store in Shinjuku,Tokyo

A Japanese retail website has recently announced the opening of an Apple store at the retail district Shinjuku of Tokyo. The district has always been home to big brands and already has one Apple store in the area, Japan has a total of 8 Apple stores.

The Apple store opening will be selling all the products on the Apple line and not just Apple watches like the Apple watch store at the Isetan Department Store. The Isetan Department Store caters to customers shopping at luxury brands and is a prime location as well as expensive. The Watch store at Isetan is the last remaining store that sells only watches. The other two that existed shut down shortly after they were opened.

Apple has over 500 retail stores across the world and this will be another addition to their growing list. The store will open to the public on April 7 at 10:00 am. The shop will be known as “R128” and will be on the first floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building. The shop will run from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, throughout the week.

Japan is a huge market for Apple and more stores will probably follow. The iPhone market share is actually double android in Japan, making it the preferred brand.
