Apple Music Rolling Out Update With ‘Coming Soon’ Section, Album Launch Dates, and New Artist Profiles

Today Apple is working on a range of updates for Apple Music. They came up with a new section called Coming Soon, providing users to check out new albums that are released over the next few weeks.

The hub on iOS and macO is placed in the Browse tab > New Music > scroll down to find Coming Soon > tap See All. Previously Music Videos were the last thing to view here and now Apple has added Coming Soon as well.

The list of artists is from a range of various genres, with upcoming albums from Panic! At The Disco, Florence + The Machine, Interpol, and more. By just around 10 albums, Coming Soon isn’t a fully absolute source of each coming album on Apple Music. But albums are being added to the segment during the day so it seems that Apple will be continuously growing.

There is a drop-down menu on macOS for ordering options but only Recent Bestsellers option is available now. Apple can refresh to give it easier to order future albums by release dates, genres, and more. On iOS, there is no such option available.

In extra extension, Apple is getting it possible to simply view the album launch dates on their own pages on iOS and macOS. Some albums are not listed in Coming Soon but they still have a release date defined on their pages, so the update is a bit more wide-ranging.

Lastly, extra rollout rises to be appearing today in respects to artist profiles, giving of now only in iTunes on macOS. These contours have a somewhat tweaked design with artist portraits in circular bubbles, and a Featured Release that includes release dates.
