Apple pay signed up 14 more banks for contactless transactions


As every Apple user knows about Apple Pay, which is a mobile payment and also a digital wallet service by Apple. This application is used for payments using Apple iOS devices namely iPhone 6. iPhone 6 plus, iPhone 5S and later models, iPad Air, iPad mini. Even users can pay payments using Apple watch which is going to be launch in the month of April.

Previously Apple rolled out support for many of the banks and credit unions for this Apple pay application, currently Apple Pay has singed up for 15 banks to support this application. The addition of new banks, which include Ohio-based Fifth Third Bank with more than six million customers and two million at INOVA Federal Credit Union, bring the total number of banks offering Apple Pay support to 54.

Earlier Apple’s CEO said in an event that Apple has signed up around 750 banks to added support for the application Apple pay
