Apple Regent Street, London robbed by 10 men in lightening quick raid

Apple store at the Regent Street in London was robbed early on Monday morning by 10 robbers who came on 5 mopeds.

Apple Regent Street, one of the flagship Apple Stores in London, was robbed by a group of 10 men, who came on 5 mopeds and smashed into the glass at the store door. The incident took place early on Monday morning. The robbers were allegedly not carrying any weapons except hammers.

Two security guards, who were present there at the time of the robbery, were threatened and held captive until other men went inside and took away iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watched. The news was first reported by The London Evening Standard.

Noone has been arrested in the matter, however, the London police recovered 2 iPhone X units near Kings Cross and trying to track the robbers using the details of a scooter, which was left behind by the robbers. The store has started to operate as usual.

Apple Stores around the world have been facing these incidents quite frequently. Just days back, a UPS truck was attacked in the US and the robbers allegedly took over 300 iPhone X units.
