iOS 11.2 is rumoured to include features like support for Airplay 2 and Apple Pay Cash. Along with that, the operating system will also include support for Homepod in form of Sirikit.

In addition to the features, which were included in beta 2 of iOS 11.2, the OS will include the following features

  • Control Center explainers for WiFi and Bluetooth behaviours.
  • A new indicator to open control center on iPhone X. This indicator was earlier showed in the commercials, however, this wasn’t visible on the home screen of iPhone X.

  • Fixed a bug which was causing podcast app to crash while playing podcasts with chapter marker.

Other operating systems, including tvOS 11.2 are also updated with minor tweaks. The latest tvOS now makes it better to playback the HDR videos at various frame rates.
