Apple will be hosting its next annual shareholders meeting on 13th February, 2018 at Steve Jobs Theatre. The record date for the proposed meeting was supposed to be 15th December, 2017. That means, in order to be qualified to attend the meeting, a shareholder needs to own Apple Inc (NYSE : AAPL) as on 15th December 2017. The announcement was made through an updation on the investors relation page on Apple’s website.
The statement by Apple stated that the Steve Jobs Theatre has comparatively lesser number of seats and that is why, the company has asked its shareholders to register for the meeting. Once Apple files its proxy statement, its shareholders will be assigned a unique number, using which, they can register for the meeting on a first-come first-serve basis. The registration will start at 8AM PT on 22nd January, 2018.
