Cydia Installer 1.1.20 arrived with bugs fixes


In recent Cydia news, One of the developer has got around to it and pushed out another nice update for Cydia Installer. This brings Cydia Installer to 1.1.20, and features a list of bug fixes that are related to the previous version.

Many jailbreakers faced one of the biggest updates and got to experience new changes that Cydia 1.1.19 brought them. The huge update even changed the way Cydia worked on Jailbroken devices, this meant instead of running as root, Cydia now runs as mobile. For those wondering what that means, installed tweaks will now affect cydia.

The previous version brought and included specific annoying bugs, which have been fixed in the newest update of Cydia Installer 1.1.20. In case you are wondering, the new update fixed these bugs in the following the features in this new version :

  • Cydia no longer crashes when hiding sections under source tab.
  • Ignore upgrade in the change package setting which was once gone is now back
  • Cydia was able to resume installation of half installed packages just in case if something ever went wrong. However this did not work in the previous version of Cydia 1.1.19 but now functions correctly in 1.1.20.
  • In the earlier version 1.1.19, Cydia displayed wrong values in storage section. This has been addressed in 1.1.20.
