Actually this feature with default enable to update automatically in the background, with this feature no need to check and upgrade the software or applications since 2007. If you wants to turn off this feature auto app updates then simply follow this guide which provides the following below steps
- Launch the settings application and tap on the iTunes and App Store.
- Once you open the iTunes and App Store, under the untitled Automatic downloads you will see the options like music, applications, books and updates many more.
