There are many ways to export contacts from iCloud by using any third party applications and some times you have to connect you iPhone directly to the Mac device. Assuming that you use iCloud to store contacts and Suppose you don’t have Mac device with you and want to export the contacts and then simply follow the steps given below.
How to export contacts from iCloud
- Initially go to iCloud,com and sign-in with your username and password.
- Once you login to iCloud, click on the contacts icon.
- Select the contact you want to export, when you select the contact it will turn into blue color.
- To select entire contacts simply press Command and A alphabet key simultaneously ( In windows OS it’s Ctrl and A alphabet ).
- Bottom left of the screen, click on the gear icon and select the export option to export the contacts.
- All the selected contacts will be compiled into a single file and this single file can be save it to your desktop or anywhere else as per your convenient.
- The generated file is .Vcf file which is a standard virtual format used by the every Contacts or Mail app.
- That’s it you’re done with exporting the contacts from iCloud.
