Facebook has announced SDK for tvOS platform giving developers that ability to build immersive social experiences on Apple TV. One of the main features available in the SDK is login support through which you can log in to your Facebook account by simply entering an on-screen confirmation code on your smartphone or computer.
Apple TV does not support universal authentication yet and with the users having to sign into individual apps using the on-screen keyboard to enter login information. The social networks solution is an easier alternative for users to login to third party services using their Facebook credentials.
Alongside streamlined logins, Facebook is also touting built-in sharing and analytics tools with its SDK.
