Here’s what to expect from Apple’s new iPad in 2018

The Apple event which is going to take place on the 27th of this month may showcase the new iPads. The event is focused on learning and education as per the invitations. This would be an ideal occasion for the company to reveal their new iPad. Even though Apple hasn’t confirmed any such launch, people have been expecting an iPad similar in design to the iPhone X.

There has been news that Apple has registered two new iPads with Eurasian Economic Commission, last year. These registrations are often followed up by the announcement of the products. It has been almost a year since the release of the iPad mini 4 and the entry-level iPad have been released. This means the event might reveal the successor of these two devices.

Some rumours also suggest that these lower-end iPads might as well support the Apple Pencil. According to the Bloomberg reports, Apple has been developing a new Apple pencil as well as the supporting software. Though, there is a little scope of any new features the devices will still get a performance boost.

Facial ID might make its way to the new iPad but it would probably not be released during this presentation. The iPad Pro might be released later this year. It will have the Face ID which means no home button. There is also a possibility that there won’t be any more OLED displays as the supply of those are not sufficient to meet the demands. Some rumours also suggest that Apple might even discontinue the iPad mini lineup this year. This will be true if Apple plans to release a larger version of iPhone X, called iPhone X plus later this year.

These are all the rumors that are going about the new iPad as of now. We would need to wait to find out which of these comes true.
