Actually the organizing and viewing push notifications on an iOS device was made easy when Apple released notification center along with iOS 7. A Quick swipe from the top of your iOS device’s screen reveals a list of notifications, waiting for you to take action or presenting you with information. Try as you might to make sense of the order in which the notifications are presented, it’s always been a bit of a mystery.
In iOS 9 Apple made easy for managing the order of notifications in Notification center. You can now set notifications to be placed in single list in the order in which they arrived, regardless of app they came from and you can manually place apps in a list, indicating the order of notifications and grouping by app. To change the notification order on iOS 9 manually simply follow the settings given below :
- Initially launch the settings application on your iOS device.
- Under settings tap on the notifications.
- Select sort order.
Recent will group notifications in a unified list, while Group will let you manually define the order (based on app) of notifications displayed on your device. Of course, Apple still included a switch to group notifications by app should you select the Recent sorting option.
