How to set up and use Apple TV Remote on Apple Watch

Remote app works similar on both Apple Watch as well as iPhone, you can download this application from App Store. By using this application you can pair your device with Apple TV, it mean you can control TV on your device with this remote app. In this post let use discuss how to set up and use Apple TV remote on Apple Watch.

How to set up remote app for Apple Watch with your Apple TV :

On Apple Watch press Digital Crown to go to home screen.
There tap on the Remote app and Tap add device to get passcode.
On the Apple TV press and hold the menu button to go to home screen and click on setting application followed by general.
Click on Remotes and click on select to add next to the name of your Apple Watch.
Enter passcode and click on done.

Now you can see an Apple TV icon which will appear in remote application. If it doesn’t happen, just reboot the both the device and check

How to use remote app for Apple Watch with your Apple TV :

To go home screen on Apple Watch press Digital Crown.
Navigate Remote app and tap on it.
Tap on Apple TV icon to connect to your Apple TV.
Swipe up, down, left and right to move through the Apple TV interface.
Tap anywhere on the screen to select, Tap the list button which is at the left top to return to the device selector screen.
Tap on the Menu button, to go back up level.
Tap on play/pause to start and stop video or audio playback.

How to remove Apple TV from Apple Watch remote app :

Press the digital crown of the Apple Watch to go to home screen.
Navigate the Remote app and tap on it.
Firmly press on the screen to bring up the option menu.
Tap on edit and tap on X button to remove and tap on check mark check mark button to finish.
