Apple has just announced the launch of iOS 11.1.2 to address some of the issues for iPhone X and other iPhones and iPads. This is the seventh public release from Apple after it announced iOS 11 for the first time.
The new version includes a fix for an issue that made the iPhone X display ‘temporarily unresponsive’ at cold temperatures. The iOS update is available for all iOS 11-compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models.
One of the major issues addressed in the latest update includes the iPhone X screen issue at cold temperatures. Some users on Reddit had reported their iPhone X screen going unresponsive at cold temperature after upgrading to iOS 11.1.1, the company has considered their complaints and issued a timely fix. Also, a number of users had reported issues with the live photos and videos taken on iPhone X, along with seeing some mystery green line appearing on the screen at times.
Though Apple hasn’t confirmed if the other issues have been addressed with the latest update, it sure brings a number of changes for the iPhone X users. We are still not sure as to how beneficial will the upgrade be for other iPhone users.
