iPhone, iOS ‘dominant’ over Android in English-speaking countries

iOS is leading in the market share collected by device identifier in countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, the U.K. and the US. While its holding a lean lead in Sweden.

On the other hand, Android is leading in the countries like Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, South Africa and Spain. iPhone, however, has some shares in some countries while weakening in  Colombia, Egypt and Ireland. 

With the new operating system, it has cut into the margins of both holders in India. It has pushed the Apple into third place. Features phones are the active part of most countries.

The number of reports claimed that the iPhone X, and the iPhone as a whole, was doing poorly in the quarter. It would pursue to underachieve for the remainder of Apple’s fiscal year. The feature phone growing traffic in India underlines the fact that web publishers and service providers ignore users on these devices at their uncertainty.

Tim Cook CEO of Apple said that it’s putting most of the sales estimates to death during the sales declaration on March 1. He also said, “Customers chose iPhone X more than any other iPhone each week in the March quarter, just as they did following its launch in the December quarter”.
