iPhone X is not the first device from Apple to top the display charts, last year, iPhone 7 had also created new highs in the display performance and was rated as the best display on a smartphone at that time. Over the years, DisplayMate has established its credibility and has shared reviews on the displays of flagship products including Samsung Galaxy Series, iPhone and Apple Watch.

Highest Absolute Color Accuracy for any Display (0.9JNCD) which is Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect.
Highest Full Screen Brightness for OLED Smartphones (634 nits).
Highest Full Screen Contrast Rating in Ambient Light (141).
Highest Contrast Ratio (Infinite).
Lowest Screen Reflectance (4.5 percent).
Smallest Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle (22 percent).
Some of the features which were highlighted in the report by DisplayMate include True Tone Display, Night Shift and Mobile HDR. Mobile HDR has been added in an Apple display for the first time ever.
