After the latest update, Fortnite for iOS is driving home great chunks of revenue!

In about two months after its release, Fortnite for iOS continues to bring in overwhelming revenue and according to the new data form Sensor Tower; it has brought forth revenue of a whooping $50 million.

The update with a newer content has lured in more business in its favor and certainly this could be seen from the increase obtained in a player spending by 239%.

The Fortnite application though is free to download, yet a user has to make the in game purchases in the game currency. The new content can be brought with the in game currency and that is what had made the revenue from Fortnite rise such highly.

Also, given that the exclusive contents are available only for a specific period of time and if they are not purchased they will be removed, lures the users to make impromptu purchases.

The in app purchase model is far more successful that the loot box model and that keeps Fortnite ahead of by many steps from its biggest rival, PUBG.

The best news about the Fortnite application is that even after 2 months after its release, it is earning revenue of $1 million per day and is surely a success.
