According to him, Apple’s sales strategy will be more competitive for the three iPhones reported for September 2018. It is an attempt to increase purchases of the designs this year.
One of the chief purpose that Kuo says is following the competitive pricing plan is Apple’s interest over the adverse results of a higher price for its 2018 iPhones. The previous year, the company has got some blowback on the top-tier pricing of iPhone X, which launched at $999 in the United States for 64GB.
Presently, Kuo says that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone X Plus will be $900-$1,000. The next generation OLED iPhone X will be $800-$900 and the latest 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will be $600-$700. Kuo repeats that every 2018 iPhones will be having a full-screen model and Face ID.
Kuo also thinks that Apple will be announcing every three new iPhone designs at an event in September. Moreover, all three iPhones will be launching in September plus the LCD model that news have before secured for a November debut.
This will be Kuo’s first research note after leaving KGI Securities in April. At that point, it was assumed that he would decrease his locus on Apple to look at different developing industries. But it shows we can, however, assume news on Apple and its stores’ chain from Kuo.
