- Launch Safari browser on your iOS 8 device and then visit http://youtube.com/ and select your favorite video to play.
- Tap on home button and scroll down to find Control center.
- Now tap on the play button located in the media sheet.
That’s it, you are done. Now the YouTube videos will play with its title in the background. Though the video runs in background, you can able to control the playback through the control center in accordance with your need. This is also having an disadvantage that, this can be done only in the Apple’s default search engine Safari, but this is not supported in the official YouTube app.
Apple has framed its own rules and wants users to follow them. But these may be inconvenient for the users in few occasions but they got their own importance.
