As the release date of Apple’s 2018 lineup of iPhones is getting closer, the rumour mill has started churning out the product rumour. The latest rumour to surface comes from a Russian Website called as Wylsa.com who are showing off the schematic diagrams of the future iPhones.
Opening the website greets users with schematics of two out of three expected iPhone to be released by the company this fall. The Premium the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone X Plus and the LCD equipped 6.1-inch cheaper budget iPhone. While the higher end is rumoured to have a dual-camera the budget version will be sporting a single camera.
Let us take a look at respective schematics one by one.
From the above diagram, one case easily figure out the dimension of the device. The iPhone as per the diagram measures about it being 75.72mm large, 150.91mm tall, and eight.32mm thick.
6.5-inch iPhone schematics
Looking at the bigger iPhone schematic, the device measures in at 77.41mm large, 157.53mm tall, and seven.68mm thick.
One thing to be noted is that all these data are being collected from an iPhone case vendor. One more interesting thing to pay attention here is that there is no schematic for the second-generation 5.8-inch OLED iPhone. It was earlier rumoured and also reported by us about the three device structure Apple might end up introducing this year.
Now this means two things. Either that the Apple has decided to jump off the bandwagon of the three device structure and rather stick to the two device structure. This might result in only two devices getting released by the company. Or this would end up confirming our earlier report that the devices will be as of same dimensions of the iPhone X. In case you don’t remember the older legend, iPhone X measure at 70.9mm wide, 143.6mm tall, and 7.7mm thick.
Below are some renderings developed upon these leaked schematics. All three iPhones are expected to feature an edge-to-edge display with a notch and a TrueDepth camera system for Face ID, allowing Apple to eliminate the Touch ID fingerprint sensor from its iPhone lineup entirely.
Well its probably too much to ask for but hope we get to see some glimpse of this year’s iPhone at Apple’s June 4 WWDC event today!
