Twitter’s Periscope App to hit new Apple TV Soon

Apple’s upcoming revamped Apple TV will support a full App Store and as per some details on one of the first third party apps that will be available for the device. According to some sources, live video streaming periscope is building an app for the Apple TV which will likely allow users to watch content streamed from the periscope iOS app.

Periscope is owned by Twitter and this is an application which allows users to capture and broadcast live videos streams. Currently, periscope videos can be watched solely on the web and through smartphones using iOS and Android apps, but with an expansion to Apple TV, video streams integration a touch based motion enabled remote control, A8 processor and additional storage space. Apple’s event will begin at 10.00 a.m pacifc time on September 9th.
