For admission to Higher Degree programmes (M.E., M.Pharm., MBA), BITS conducts BITS HD exam, which is also a computer-based online test.

For admission to Doctoral programmes (Ph.D.), BITS conducts an entrance test and interview. For admission to Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP), BITS accepts applications from working professionals who meet the eligibility criteria.

BITS offers UG admission to various programmes in engineering, pharmacy, and science. The duration of these programmes is four years, except for M.Sc. programmes which are five years long.

The candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as subjects are eligible to apply for these programmes.

The candidates who wish to apply for UG admission at BITS must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• They must have obtained at least 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
• They must have scored at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually.
• They must have adequate proficiency in English.
• They must have appeared in BITSAT exam conducted by BITS.

BITS offers PG admission to various programmes in engineering, pharmacy, management, and humanities. The duration of these programmes is two years, except for MBA programme which is one year long.

The candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply for these programmes.

The candidates who wish to apply for PG admission at BITS must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• They must have obtained at least 60% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• They must have adequate proficiency in English.
• They must have appeared in BITS HD exam conducted by BITS for M.E. and M.Pharm. programmes.
• They must have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT exam for MBA programme.
• They must have a valid score in GATE/UGC-NET exam for M.A. programme.

• Visit the official website www.bitsadmission.com and register with a valid email id and mobile number.
• Fill the application form with personal details, academic details, course preferences, test center preferences, etc.
• Upload the scanned copies of required documents such as mark sheets, certificates, photograph, signature, etc.
• Pay the application fee through online mode using credit card/debit card/net banking.
• Submit the application form and take a printout of it for future reference.

The application fee for BITSAT exam is Rs. 3400 for male candidates and Rs. 2900 for female candidates. The application fee for BITS HD exam is Rs. 3300 for all candidates. The application fee for MBA programme is Rs. 3150 for all candidates. The application fee for Ph.D. programme is Rs. 2400 for all candidates. The application fee for WILP programmes varies according to the course and campus.
