The one way to access the file stored in the iCloud Drive account was by using a specific app for a specific file type. iOS lacked a dedicated app to view your files as a whole, and it was a frustration point for many. Apple iOS 9 latest OS however offers an optional iCloud drive app. The app services as a file browser for any and all files stored in your account.
Once you update your iOS 9 and you can able to enable the iDrive by follow the steps given below :
- Initially launch the settings application on your iOS device.
- scroll down and navigate iCloud in the listing and select it.
- Tap on iCloud drive and set the show on home screen with on position.
- Press the home button on your device.
white icon with the iCloud Drive logo will now be present on your home screen. Upon launching it, you can expect to find your stored files available for your viewing and editing pleasure. If you forget to enable after updated then iOS will display a prompt after some time asking if you’d like to enable it. If you chose to, but no longer want the icon on your home screen.
