Some users of Apple devices with iOS 8.4.1 noted on Apple’s support page that they are experiencing a loss in the battery life after installing the new update. If you’re facing this issue then simply follow the ways to fix the problem as given below :
Restart the device : Some times the easiest way to fix the problem is to restart the phone, you can do this by holding down the power button, swipe to shut down, then hold the power button again to turn the phone back on.
Hard Reboot : To do hard reboot, hold down both the power and home button together for 10-seconds. The phone should automatically restart itself. Release the buttons once the Apple logo appears on the screen. Doing a hard reboot should fix the problem without erasing any of your data.
Reset Settings :
If you do reset all the settings should be set back to the factory default. None of your data will be deleted or erased by doing a reset. You can do this by going to Settings>Reset>Reset all settings.
Restore iOS 8.4.1 :
Updating through OTA (over-the-air) may cause major issues with the performance of the software such as battery life issues. To solve this problem, it’s better to restore or clean install iOS 8.4.1 update via iTunes. You can do this by downloading the latest IPSW firmware file for your device and connect it to your computer. Next open iTunes and press and hold the shift key (Windows) or Option/Alt Key (Mac OS X) Next, click the restore iPhone button and simply select the firmware file to start the restore process.
