LPU admission process is completely online. Admission to each course follows specific admission criteria. LPU conducts its own entrance exam called LPUNEST for admission to various programmes such as B.Tech., MBA, Law, Design, Agriculture etc. LPUNEST also serves as a scholarship test for all programmes based on the performance of the candidates.

LPU also accepts scores of national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, CAT, MAT, NMAT, NATA, XAT, CMAT etc. for admission to some programmes. Admission to a few UG and PG courses such as BBA, B.A., BCA, B.Ed., M.Ed., and M.A. is merit-based.

• The minimum aggregate percentage required may vary depending on the programme chosen.
• For B.Tech. and B.Sc. courses, the university requires applicants to have 60% marks in their Class 10 + 2 final examinations.

1. Visit the official website of LPU and click on ‘Apply Now’ given on the top of the home page.
2. Choose the programme type, programme name, and campus preference and click on ‘Apply Now’.
3. Register with your name, email id, mobile number, state, and city and create a password.
4. Login with your registered email id and password and fill the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
5. Upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and relevant documents as per the specifications.
6. Pay the application fee of INR 1000 (INR 500 for female candidates) through online mode using debit card/credit card/net banking or offline mode using demand draft in favour of ‘Lovely Professional University’ payable at Jalandhar.
7. Submit the application form and take a printout of it for future reference.

LPU admission process consists of the following steps:

1. Apply online for admission by filling the application form and paying the application fee.
2. Appear for LPUNEST or other relevant entrance exams as per the programme applied for.
3. Check the result of LPUNEST or other entrance exams on the official website of LPU or through email/SMS.
4. Participate in online counselling and seat allotment process based on your rank and preference.
5. Confirm your seat by paying the initial fee of INR 10,000 through online mode or offline mode within the specified time period.

7. Pay the remaining fee as per the fee structure of your programme through online mode or offline mode within the specified time period.
