Shiv Nadar University is a private research university established in 2011 by Shiv Nadar, one of India’s foremost philanthropists and a pioneer of the technological revolution. The university is located in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and continuing education programs in various disciplines such as engineering, humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, management and entrepreneurship, and design.

The university aims to provide a multidisciplinary education that fosters research and innovation, creative and problem-focused thinking, resilience, and respect for diversity. The university has a faculty of 226 members who are drawn from some of the best institutions in India and the world. Shiv Nadar University (SNU) Admission

Shiv Nadar University admission is based on merit and entrance tests for different programs. The university accepts national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, SAT, GATE, GMAT, XAT, etc. for some of the courses.

The university also conducts its own entrance exam called SNUSAT (Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test) for admission to UG courses. The admission process also involves interviews conducted by faculty members.

The university offers admission to various programs under its four schools: School of Engineering, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, and School of Management and Entrepreneurship. Shiv Nadar University offers undergraduate programs in engineering, sciences, arts, design, and management studies. The duration of these programs is four years (except for B.Des., which is five years).

Shiv Nadar University PG Admission

Shiv Nadar University offers postgraduate programs in engineering, sciences, arts, management, and fine arts. The duration of these programs is two years (except for MBA Global, which is one year).

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates must have appeared for GATE or GMAT or XAT or CAT or GRE or NET or SNU PET (as applicable) and obtained a valid score.
• Candidates must have qualified the written test and/or interview conducted by the respective school.

Shiv Nadar University (SNU) Application Form

Shiv Nadar University application form has been released on the official website of the university – snuadmissions.com. Candidates can fill the online application form by registering with a valid email ID and mobile number.

Candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 1200 for UG courses and INR 2400 for PG courses through online mode.

Candidates have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and relevant documents in the prescribed format and size. Candidates have to fill in their personal, academic, and entrance exam details in the application form. Candidates can also apply for financial aid and scholarships by checking the appropriate box in the application form.

Shiv Nadar University Admission Process – How to Do?

The admission process of Shiv Nadar University varies for different programs and schools. The general steps involved in the admission process are as follows:

• Fill and submit the online application form along with the application fee and required documents.
• Appear for the entrance exam (national or university level) as per the program applied for.
• Qualify the APT (Academic Proficiency Test) conducted by the university (for UG courses only).
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview conducted by the respective school.
