Removal of home button from iPhone X has caused a lot of inconvenience to the users who had used an iPhone before and were habitual of the same. There are a lot of things, which the users need to learn, in order to get the most out of their new iPhone X. One of the things needed to be learned included gesture area, which controls most of the functions in the latest Apple iPhone.
Home button on the previous iPhones also allowed us to open the fast app switcher and switch to any app which was open at that point of time. In the new iPhone, you can still switch to the apps, maybe even more conveniently, provided, you get the gesture area command right. In this short tutorial, I will discuss on how to switch between active apps on iPhone X.
- Touch your finger at the gesture area located at the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe left to right if you want to go to the previous app and swipe from right to left if you want to switch to the next app.
If you are swiping among the apps and the process gets interrupted, the last active app will become the most recent app and you will not be able to have the next apps as all the apps will get in the list of previous apps.
